Acer Aspire Vero 15 - Low-carbon, Raptor Lake chip eco-laptop from €849

Acer has unveiled an eco-friendly laptop as part of its Vero range. It is called Acer Aspire Vero 15, the model has reduced its carbon footprint by nearly a third.

Here's What We Know

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 features Intel's 13th generation (Raptor Lake) processors without discrete graphics. The graphics subsystem is represented by an integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 1TB capacity in an M.2 SSD.

40% of the chassis is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, up from 30% in the Vera series. The keycaps include 50% recycled plastic. The result is a 30% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 features a 15.6" Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 16 : 9, and a screen capable of reproducing 100% of the sRGB colour gamut. A webcam with 1440p video capture support is installed in the top frame.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 will cost a minimum of €849. The notebook will arrive on the market in mid-summer.
