DJI Mavic 3 Pro - Hasselblad 48 MP + 20 MP + 12 MP camera, 5.1K support, Apple ProRes and flight time of up to 43 minutes from $2199
As planned, DJI has unveiled the new third-generation Mavic. The quadcopter is called DJI Mavic 3 Pro. One of the key features is the triple camera.
Here's What We Know
The main camera module got a 20MP CMOS sensor of ¾" optical format. The equivalent focal length is 24mm and the lens aperture is f/2.8-11. The camera supports the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) colour profile and shoots video in several modes:
- ProRes 5.1K (5120×2700px) at frame rates of up to 50FPS;
- DCI 4K (4096x2160px);
- 4K ULTRA HD (3840x2160px) at up to 120FPS with D-Log 10-bit colour profile.
The second camera features a 1/1.3" CMOS optical format sensor with a resolution of 48 MP. The optics have an equivalent focal length of 70mm, an aperture of f/2.8 and a zoom of 3x. The telephoto lens can shoot 4K UHD video at frame rates of up to 60 FPS and capture 12MP photos.
The third camera of DJI Mavic 3 Pro is another telephoto lens. It too shoots video in 4K UHD at 60 FPS, but the zoom is increased to 7x. The resolution is 12MP (1/2" CMOS) and the aperture is f/3.4. The telephoto lens supports Apple ProRes (10 bit) and H.264/H.265 (8 bit). Naturally, the camera has received optical image stabilisation.
DJI Mavic 3 Pro supports O3+ and can transmit 1080@60FPS video up to 15km. The maximum flight time is 43 minutes, similar to the cheaper DJI Mavic 3 quadcopter.
