LG launches UltraWide 5K2K monitor with Nano IPS display and 72Hz refresh rate for €1339
LG has expanded its UltraWide monitor range with another model. It is called LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W.

The monitor features a Nano IPS display with a 72Hz refresh rate and a 39.7" diagonal. The company claims that the screen has a resolution of 5K2K. In simple words - 5K horizontally and 2K vertically. To be more precise - 5120 x 2160 pixels.
The 10-bit display in the LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W displays 98% of the DCI-P3 colour range. Pixel density is 139 ppi, brightness is 300 nits and contrast ratio is 1000:1. The response time is as modest as the refresh rate - 5ms. Despite this, the novelty is positioned as a monitor for gamers.
The LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W is equipped with two 10W speakers, Thuderbolt 4, DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 and USB-A connectors each and one USB-C with Power Delivery (96W). Peak power consumption is 70 watts.

The manufacturer's recommended price for the LG UltraWide 40WP95CP-W is €1339. A launch date for the new monitor has not yet been specified.
