Sony launches SRS XB100 Bluetooth speaker with IP67 protection and 16 hours of battery life for $60

Sony has announced a new portable Bluetooth speaker. The music accessory is called the Sony SRS XB100.

The Sony SRS XB100 is a compact music speaker that features IP67 water protection. The housing measures 76 x 95 mm and weighs 274 g. There are four colours to choose from: black, orange, light grey and blue.

According to the manufacturer, the Sony SRS XB100 can play music without recharging for 16 hours. A Bluetooth 5.3 (2.4GHz) adapter is provided to connect smartphones wirelessly. The speaker also features a USB-C port. A DC socket is used for charging.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Sony SRS XB100 is priced at $60. It is already available for pre-order on the official website of the Japanese company. Deliveries will begin on May 22-23, 2023.
