Huawei MateBook 16S - Raptor Lake-H chips, 2.5K display and 84Wh battery from €1799
Along with Huawei MateBook X, the Chinese company has announced a new version of the MateBook 16S in Europe. Here too, the main change is the 13th generation Intel processors.
Here's What We Know
Huawei MateBook 16S offers buyers a choice of three Raptor Lake-H chips at once. The base version features a 12-core, 16-core Intel Core i5-13500H running at up to 4.7GHz. The more powerful variant gets a 14-core, 20-threaded Intel Core i7-13700H processor up to 5GHz.
The most powerful version of the laptop comes with an Intel Core i9-13900H mobile platform. It has 14 cores, 20 threads and a maximum frequency of 5.4GHz. The nominal TDP of each of the three processors is 45W.
The Huawei MateBook 16S gets a 16" IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1680 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits. The RAM capacity is 16/32GB and the storage capacity is 512GB / 1024GB. The battery has a capacity of 84Wh.
The novelty runs on Windows 11 Home operating system. The graphics subsystem is represented by Iris Xe iGPU. Also note the presence of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2. HDMI and four USB-C (one with Thunderbolt 4 support).
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Huawei MateBook 16S will be sold exclusively in grey colouring starting from June 1, 2023. The notebook will cost minimum €1799 / £1499.
