Ford E-Tourneo Courier: electric minivan with 136bhp engine and 100kW fast charging support
Ford has announced its new electric car in Europe.
Here's What We Know
We're talking about the Ford E-Tourneo Courier minivan. It's got an electric motor that pushes the front wheels with 100 kW of power. The company does not disclose battery capacity, but it is presumably a 62 kWh battery. It supports charging up to 100 kW. With this charger, the car can replenish its 87-kilometre range in just 10 minutes. And if you charge the car at home with a minimum of 11kW, the charge time from 10% to 100% is 5.7 hours.
The Ford E-Tourneo Courier gets five seats and a boot with a capacity of 568 litres. It also boasts a DigiBoard dashboard with SYNC 4 infotainment system. It is controlled via a 12-inch touchscreen. The car supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Ford E-Tourneo Courier has room for wireless smartphone charging.
When We Can Expect It
Ford plans to start production of the E-Tourneo Courier in the second half of 2024. Deliveries of the car will start in late 2024.
