NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 became the world's cheapest DLSS 3-capable graphics card at $299
NVIDIA has unveiled the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card as planned. It is the cheapest model of the Ada Lovelace generation (RTX 40).
Here's What We Know
The GeForce RTX 4060 is equipped with the AD107-400 GPU. The chip has 3,070 CUDA cores and it runs at 2.42GHz. The GPU is augmented by 8GB of GDDR6 RAM with an effective frequency of 17GHz. The 128 bit bus provides a maximum bandwidth of 272 GB/s. The new graphics card consumes 115W.
The GeForce RTX 4060 is the world's lowest cost graphics card with DLSS 3 support. According to NVIDIA, the technology improves performance by 70% over its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 3060, and by 130% over the older GeForce RTX 2060. Performance in single precision computing is 15 FLOPS, which is 2 TFLOPS more than the RTX 3060.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The GeForce RTX 4060 will go on sale as early as next week on May 24. The price is $299. It should be noted that the video card will not be available in Founders Edition version.
