As planned, AMD has unveiled the Radeon RX 7600, which has become the world's cheapest next generation graphics card. It takes this title away from the GeForce RTX 4060, although the latter has not yet gone on sale.

Here's What We Know

The Radeon RX 7600 is based on the Navi 33 XL chip with 33 RDNA 3 execution units and 2048 stream processors. The GPU's reference clock speed is 2.66Hz.

The GPU works in tandem with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The VRAM has an effective clock speed of 18 GHz and a 128-bit memory bus width. The result is a maximum video memory bandwidth of 288GB/s.

The Radeon RX 7600 consumes 165W and has one 8-pin power connector. The graphics card has DisplayPort 1.4, but in some versions performed by partners it may be absent. There is also HDMI 2.1 and PCIe 4.0 (x8).

According to the manufacturer, the novelty outperforms the Radeon RX 6600 model by around 29 per cent on average when playing games at maximum graphics settings with Full HD resolution. AMD also claims that Radeon RX 7600 in Full HD is capable of delivering 60 FPS even in today's games.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The manufacturer's recommended price for the Radeon RX 7600 is $269. Compared to the Radeon RX 6600, the price has dropped by $60. NVIDIA company has priced its cheapest new generation model at $299, but it will not go on sale until mid-summer. The device will be available for purchase from May 25.
