Unihertz Jelly Star - Tiny transparent smartphone with 3" display, 48MP camera, Android 13 and NFC
Unihertz has unveiled a tiny smartphone that, in addition to its compact size, features a transparent body. The model is called Unihertz Jelly Star.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone is equipped with a 3" diagonal display. It is based on an IPS matrix with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and brightness to 600 nits. The case measures 95.13 x 49.52 x 19.37 mm and weighs 121 g.
The Unihertz Jelly Star hardware platform is built around the Helio G99 chip. The 6nm processor does not support 5G and is complemented by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The storage capacity is 256GB (UFS 2.2).
The smartphone has received two cameras. The resolution of the front one is 8 MP and the rear one is 48 MP. The cameras have Sony IMX219 (1/4") and Samsung GM2 (1/2") sensors respectively.
The battery has a 2,000mAh capacity and 7.5W charging capacity via USB-C. The Unihertz Jelly Star also gets Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR port, GPS, headphone jack, NFC and fingerprint scanner. The smartphone runs on Android 13 operating system.
Now a few words about the features of the device. First, it has a transparent case through which you can see the inside of the phone. Secondly, there are luminous ribbons on the back (white colour only).
Price & When We Can Expect It
The price and start date of sales are not specified. The Unihertz Jelly Star will come with a protective film, power adapter, USB cable and strap. The novelty will appear on the market in red and blue colours.
