Xiaomi unveils budget earphones Redmi Buds 4 Active with ANC and splash protection in global market

Xiaomi has quietly announced new earphones. The model appeared on the global market at once. The earbuds are called Redmi Buds 4 Active.

Here's What We Know

The name of the accessory hints at the fact that it has an active noise cancellation system. Transparent mode, on the other hand, is not supported. There is a 12mm driver inside each earphone. The casing has IPX4 splash protection.

Redmi Buds 4 Active can last up to 5 hours in music listening mode. A charging case with a 440mAh battery extends the runtime to 28 hours. The headphones also support fast charging - 10 minutes converts to 2 hours of use.

With a tap on the casing you can answer/reset calls and control music playback. The headphones use Bluetooth 5.3 to connect to smartphones. Google Fast Pair support is also claimed.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The price of the Redmi Buds 4 Active has not been specified yet. There is no information about the sales launch date either. The new headphones will be available exclusively in black housing colour.
