MSI unveils Wide Quad HD curved VA monitor with refresh rates of up to 170Hz

Taiwanese company MSI has announced the MAG 275CQRD-QD monitor. The model has a curved panel and is geared towards gamers.

Here's What We Know

The MSI MAG 275CQRD-QD features a Rapid VA matrix with 4000:1 contrast ratio and Wide Quad HD (1440p) resolution. The panel is 27" diagonal and has a radius of curvature of 1000R. The response time is 1ms (GtG).

The monitor has support for AMD FreeSync Premium. DisplayPort refresh rate is 170Hz. When a PC or console is connected via HDMI 2.0, the maximum refresh rate drops to 144Hz.

In addition to DP (x1) and HDMI (x2), MSI MAG 275CQRD-QD includes a headphone jack and one USB-A, USB-B and USB-C port each. The latter supports Power Delivery protocol. The power output is 15 watts.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The MAG 275CQRD-QD has already appeared on MSI's official website. However, there is no information about the price and market launch date yet.
