TCL T6G: smart TV range with 4K QLED screens up to 55″, AMD FreeSync and Google TV on board from $472

TCL, as promised, held an event in India where it unveiled a new range of smart TVs.

Here's What We Know

The devices have been named TCL T6G. The new series includes three models: 43″, 50″ and 55″. The TVs got QLED panels with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, 300 nits brightness, and support for MEMC, Dolby Vision and HDR10. The top-of-the-range model in the series with a 55″ screen also boasts AMD FreeSync technology and support for 120Hz refresh rates.

The TVs come with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, remote control, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. There are various ports including HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0, as well as audio. The 43″ and 50″ models have 30W of power, while the top-end 55″ version has 56W. All three out of the box models run the Android operating system with Google TV interface.

TCL T6G TVs have already started selling in India. The new items are priced from $472.
