Philips introduces 40B1U6903CH: 40" monitor with 5K curved display and built-in webcam
Philips revealed the 45B1U6900C curved 5K monitor in March and has now announced a similar model.
Here's What We Know
The novelty has been named Philips 40B1U6903CH. The device is equipped with a panel with a diagonal of 40 inches, a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, an aspect ratio of 1000:1, the brightness of 350 nits and a response time of 1 ms. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and boasts wide colour space coverage, including 134% sRGB, 103% NTSC and 98% DCI-P3.
Of the ports, there's Thunderbolt 4, which provides laptop connectivity and up to 100W of power, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode. The device comes with a built-in webcam and Windows Hello feature.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the Philips 40B1U6903CH will start this month. In the UK the novelty will cost £1499, while elsewhere in Europe it will cost €1849.
