iPhone 14 and MacBook M2 chip users in the US and Europe can now repair their devices themselves

Apple is expanding its Self Service Repair programme.

Here's What We Know

According to the manufacturer's official press release, the programme now includes repairs to the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max as well as the 13-inch MacBook Air, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 chips. In addition, Apple now sells a True Depth camera and speakers for the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and certain Mac models with the M2 processor.

Users of the above devices can order genuine parts, tools and do-it-yourself gadget repair manuals.

Apple announced the Self Service Repair programme in 2021. The programme was initially available in the US, and then also appeared in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
