McLaren has unveiled the Lavoie Series 1: a range of electric scooters with a range of 61 km and a top speed of 20 km/h

British supercar manufacturer McLaren has announced a range of Lavoie Series 1 electric scooters.

Here's What We Know

There are two models in the series: a base model and a top-of-the-range model with the prefix MAX in the name. The first version of the device boasts a 468Wh battery with a range of 40km and a top speed of up to 20km/h. The Lavoie Series 1 MAX features a 702Wh battery and a range of up to 61km.

The new models feature folding bodies and three operating modes: Eco Mode, Cruising Mode and Sporty Mode. The scooters come with screens as well as rear, front and side lights. The novelties can be configured via a branded app on your smartphone.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Lavoie Series 1 is already available to buy from the brand's official website. The base version of the scooter costs $1990, while the top version costs $2230. Both models are available in four colours.
