Following the Legion 9i gemer laptop, Lenovo has announced the Legion Go portable gaming console. It should compete with the previously released consoles Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally.
Here's What We Know
Lenovo Legion Go is equipped with an 8.8" LCD display. The IPS panel has an aspect ratio of 8 to 5, a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, brightness up to 500 nits and an image refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The hardware centre of the console is an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with RDNA graphics. The chip is complemented by 16 GB of LPDDR5X type RAM with a frequency of 7500 MHz. SSD NVMe M.2 2242 SSD NVMe storage capacity ranges from 256 GB to 1 TB depending on the modification.
Lenovo Legion Go is equipped with detachable Nintendo Switch-style TrueStrike controllers. A stand integrated into the body allows you to place the console on a table. Accessories connect via DisplayPort 1.4 and USB 4.0 Type-C.
The power subsystem is represented by a battery with a capacity of 49.2W*h. The battery has received support for 65W fast charging. The battery charges in 30 minutes up to 70%. The cooling system includes a 79-blade fan. The console is powered by Windows 11.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Lenovo Legion Go has been priced from €799. Sales of the console will start in November 2023, but a month earlier the company will start selling accessories for it.
These are Lenovo Legion Glasses augmented reality glasses with two 1080p microOLED panels at 60Hz frame rate and Lenovo Legion E510 7.1 RGB headphones. It will cost €499 and €50 respectively.
