Xiaomi unveiled the Sound 2023 smart speaker with NFC, 12W speaker and AirPlay 2 support at a price of $70

Xiaomi has another low-cost smart speaker in its range. The model is called Xiaomi Sound 2023.

Here's What We Know

The smart speaker is equipped with a 2.25" speaker with a power of 12W. The volume is 90 dB. Also in the asset of the device there is a passive radiator for reproduction of frequencies up to 70 Hz. According to the manufacturer, Harman specialists took part in customising the sound.

Overall dimensions of the smart speaker are 108 x 108 x 88 mm, and weight - more than 560 g. There is no information about protection from splashes and dust. You can control the device with voice commands using the XiaoAI virtual assistant.

Xiaomi Sound 2023 supports synchronisation of sound playback with similar speakers. To connect the device to smartphones, a Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapter is provided. Also in the arsenal of the novelty has NFC and support for AirPlay 2.

Xiaomi Sound 2023 has already gone on sale, but so far it is available only in China. The cost of the smart speaker was $70.
