HP Spectre Foldable - a tablet, desktop and laptop with a bendable display priced at $5000
HP has announced a new computer. The model is called HP Spectre Foldable. The company positions the novelty weighing 1.36 kg as the world's lightest PC with a 17" display.
Here's What We Know
In desktop mode, the HP Spectre Foldable offers a 17" diagonal panel. However, the device is transformed into a laptop, and the diagonal is reduced to 12.3". Also, the novelty can be used as a giant tablet (also 17").
This is possible due to the fact that the HP Spectre Foldable is equipped with a bendable screen. The organic LED panel has an aspect ratio of 3 to 4 and a resolution of 1920 x 2560 pixels. A GlamCam webcam is installed in the screen frame.
The HP Spectre Foldable is equipped with a 10-core Intel Corei7-1250U chip. The processor is complemented by 16GB of RAM. The SSD storage capacity is 1TB. The device can run without recharging for 12 hours.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The HP Spectre Foldable is available for pre-order and sales will start in October 2023. The device has been priced at $5000. In comparison, the competitor in the form of ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is priced at $3500 and Lenovo's ThinPad X1 Fold costs another $1000 cheaper.
