Microsoft has unveiled the most powerful Surface series laptop ever - the Surface Laptop Studio 2 with Intel chips and NVIDIA graphics, priced from $2999

Along with the Surface Laptop Go 3, Microsoft has announced the highest performing laptop in the history of the Surface series. The model is called Surface Laptop Studio 2.

Here's What We Know

The American company decided to significantly increase the performance of the laptop. The new generation model is equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700H or Core i7-13800H chip, Intel Gen 3 Movidius 3700VC artificial intelligence accelerator.

Depending on the modification Surface Laptop Studio 2 can be equipped with both integrated Iris Xe graphics and discrete GeForce RTX graphics cards. The top version received GeForce RTX 4060 generation Ada Lovelace.

The maximum amount of RAM is 64 GB. The type is LPDDR5X. The SSD drive has a capacity of 2TB in the top-end configuration. The battery allows the laptop to run for 19 hours.

The display of Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 is based on a panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels, frame rate of 120 Hz and a diagonal of 14.4". The screen is named PixelSense. It supports Dolby Vision IQ and the Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 has two USB Type-C ports with support for USB 4 and Thunderbolt 4 in its arsenal. The specs list also includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, stereo speakers and Windows 11 Pro operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Microsoft will start selling the Surface Laptop Studio 2 from 3 October 2023. The cost of the laptop will start at $2999.
