Samsung revealed details about Exynos 2400 chip: 70% faster CPU and Xclipse 940 graphics with AMD RDNA 3 architecture
Samsung during the System LSI Tech Day event in San Jose, California announced revealed information about the new top-of-the-line Exynos processor.
Here's What We Know
The new product is called Exynos 2400. The SoC is the successor to the Exynos 2200. Samsung claims that the processor provides a 1.7x boost in CPU performance and a 14.7x boost in artificial intelligence performance. The new product is also equipped with Xclipse 940 graphics with AMD RDNA 3 architecture.
Unfortunately, other details about Exynos 2400 manufacturer has not yet revealed. If you believe the rumours, the chip will be built on 4nm LPP+ process. In addition, the SoC will have 10 cores based on ARMv9 architecture and a maximum core clock speed of 3.1 GHz.
When We Can Expect It
If rumours are to be believed, the Exynos 2200 will debut in the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones. The smartphones are expected to be unveiled in January 2024.
