Lenovo has started selling the ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 laptop with a bendable display 14 months after its announcement, with prices starting at $2500
More than a year has passed since the announcement of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 laptop. And now, 14 months after the presentation, the model is finally on sale.
Here's What We Know
The main feature of the ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 is a flexible display, the use of which made it possible to abandon the keyboard. The screen is based on an OLED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 2024 pixels with a peak brightness of 600 nits.
At the heart of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 are Intel 12th generation processors up to Core i7. The maximum LPDDR5 RAM is 32GB and the SSD PCIe 4.0 storage is 1024GB.
The laptop's arsenal includes a 5 MP webcam, IR camera for biometric authentication, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support (+1 without) and a SIM card slot. The battery capacity was 48W*h.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales have already started. The cost of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 2 starts at the $2500 mark. The most expensive version costs $3900. Optionally to the laptop you can buy a stylus.
