Swiss company Punkt. has unveiled its first smartphone. The model is called Punkt. MC02. Previously, the manufacturer produced only button phones without features that are commonly called smart.

Punkt. MC02 works under the operating system ApostrophyOS. It is based on AOSP. The software is created by the Swiss company Apostrophy. The operating system offers the user full control over the data. However, for this purpose it had to give up Google services.
ApostrophyOS has its own set of secure applications that store user information on the territory of Switzerland, and a built-in VPN service. At the same time, you have to pay about €15 per month for the operating system.
Punkt. MC02 is equipped with a Dimensity 900 mobile chip. The processor is complemented by 6 GB of RAM. The storage has a capacity of 128 GB, and the battery capacity was 5500 mA*h. The battery supports 18W wired and wireless charging each.
The smartphone has a 6.67" Full HD+ IPS display with a diagonal of 6.67" without an increased refresh rate. The resolution of the main camera is 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, and the front camera is 24 MP. Also the novelty received a side fingerprint scanner, NFC and headphone jack.
