OnePlus, as promised, held an event in China to showcase the OnePlus Ace 3, a low-cost smartphone with top-end specs.

Device Details

The OnePlus Ace 3 is a simplified version of the OnePlus 12 flagship. The smartphone has been equipped with a 6.78-inch display. The screen has received an OLED matrix BOE X1 8T with LTPO technology, refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, peak brightness of 4500 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass.

The gadget runs last year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1/4.0 storage (depends on the modification). The novelty also received a 5500 mAh battery with 100W charging, stereo speakers, an under-screen scanner, an X-axis motor, an IR sensor for tech control and a slider to switch sound modes.

As for the cameras, the OnePlus Ace 3 has four of them: a triple 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX890 with OIS) + 8 MP (Sony IMX355) + 2 MP and a single 16 MP front-facing one. The smartphone comes with a Pixelworks X7 chip. It is responsible for video quality. Out of the box, the novelty has Android 14 operating system installed.

Price & When We Can Expect It

OnePlus Ace 3 is already available for pre-order in China. The smartphone costs from $365. The novelty will debut on the global market at the end of January with the name OnePlua 12R.
