Lexar has released a new version of its SL500 compact SSD drive.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about a model with a storage capacity of 2TB. The novelty boasts a case with a thickness of 4.88 mm and weight of only 42 grams. The SSD has two USB 3.2 Gen2 interfaces and is equipped with GoodDie chips with maximum read speeds up to 2000 MB/s and write speeds up to 1800 MB/s.
The device comes with AES 256-bit encryption software. Users can create password-protected data safes on the drive to hide and encrypt specific files. The SL500 SSD drive can work with a variety of device types. It supports external recording and connects directly to the iPhone 15 Pro/Max.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Lexar SL500 for 2 TB is already available for purchase in China. The novelty costs $150.
