Samsung showed off the Galaxy Ring and revealed when the new product will be released
Samsung, as promised, showed off a new wearable device at MWC 2024 - the Galaxy Ring smart ring.
Here's What We Know
The ring will hit the market in platinum silver, gold and black ceramic colours. There will be different sizes to choose from: S, M, L and XL. Depending on the size, the battery of the device will differ (from 14.5 mAh to 21.5 mAh). The ring will get different sensors to track health metrics.
Samsung also claims that users will receive personalised health recommendations based on sleep data and overall readiness points (My Vitality Score). Of course, the Galaxy Ring will get integration with the company's ecosystem. The device will be controlled through the Samsung Health app.
Initially, only Android device owners will be able to use the ring, but the company may expand support to iOS gadgets in the future.
When We Can Expect It
The full-fledged release of the Galaxy Ring will take place later this year. Unfortunately, there is no exact release date for the novelty yet, but if rumours are to be believed, the gadget will be shown in the summer.
