Xiaomi officially announced the presentation date of Redmi Turbo 3 and showed a teaser of the novelty
After many rumours and leaks, Xiaomi has officially announced the new Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone. This smartphone is part of the new Turbo series, which will be a notch below the K series.
Here's What We Know
The Redmi Turbo 3 will be officially unveiled in China on the 10th of April. Along with this announcement, information about the phone's processor has been provided. As previously speculated, it has been confirmed that the device will be equipped with the recently released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This processor is not as powerful as the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but it is a notch above the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This makes the Redmi Turbo 3 much better than mid-segment devices, but it is slightly inferior to current flagships.
As reported by Xiaomi, the Redmi Turbo 3 gets 1,754,299 points in AnTuTu, which is a very high score. In comparison, the ROG Phone 8 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 currently has the highest score of 2,141,448 points. The smartphone also passed the performance test in Geekbench 6, showing a decent score of 1981 points in the single-core test and 5,526 points in the multi-core test.
Thus, the new phone is really close to the current flagships. As far as the design is concerned, the official teaser reveals that it will have a dual camera on the back. It has also been announced that the Turbo 3 will be available in three colour variants.
