Huawei unveils MateView and MateView GT: line of monitors for work and play at the price $560

Yesterday Huawei showed at a presentation in China not only TWS-headphones FreeBuds 4 and TV Smart Screen SE, but also monitors MateView/MateView GT.

What we know

Let's start with the MateView model. It got a minimalistic look with a 28.2-inch display. The panel has an IPS-matrix, 3840 × 2560 pixels resolution, aspect ratio 3:2, as well as thin bezels on four sides. The screen is with a standard refresh rate, maximum brightness of 500 nits and support for HDR400. In addition, it has 98 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and 100 percent sRGB. There are two USB-C, two USB-A 3.0, one HDMI 2.0, one MiniDP ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone and microphone jack.

As for Huawei MateView GT, it is designed for gaming. The monitor features a large 34-inch screen with a 1500R curvature and a maximum brightness of 350 nits. The display offers an aspect ratio of 21:9, a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The novelty also boasts TÜV Rheinland Eye Care certification, 90 percent DCI-P3 coverage, 100 percent sRGB, and a 5W soundbar built into the foot.

Price and when to expect

Both new items can already be pre-ordered in China at the Vmall site ( 1, 2 ). For the game version of Huawei MateView GT they $560, and for the professional MateView - $730.
