One of the owners of the Apple Watch Series 7 reported that the wearable gadget exploded due to overheating.

Here's What We Know

The user reported that the watch began to overheat severely during use. As it turned out, the Apple Watch Series 7 cracked the back cover and the watchOS operating system began displaying a notification to turn off the device.

The watch owner claims to have contacted the company's tech support, but he was constantly redirected from one technician to another. In the end, Apple still registered a complaint, and the only recommendation was not to touch the device until the specialists will not get in touch.

The next day, the watch heated up again, and the high temperature began to destroy the screen. The user wanted to take a picture of the Apple Watch Series 7, but as soon as he took the gadget in his hands, it exploded. The smartwatch owner got away without injury, but went to the hospital just in case because of fears of lead poisoning. In addition, the explosion damaged the couch.

After another appeal to Apple tech support, the user was assured that his problem was of the highest priority. However, he later received a non-disclosure document from the company with a request to sign it. After that, the owner of the exploded Apple Watch Series 7 turned to reporters 9to5Mac and told about the incident.
