Asus ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02: a trendy tablet (or laptop) with a strange look designed by ACRONYM
Asus has unveiled a special version of the ROG Flow Z13 called the ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02, developed in conjunction with ACRONYM brand designers, so the focus is on the look of the gadget.
Here's What We've Seen
The Asus ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 is a kind of hybrid of a tablet and a laptop. It features a 13.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a detachable keyboard, so it can be used as both a tablet and a laptop.
ACRONYM designers added a bespoke aluminium case, rubberised corners and supports on the back panel. Although the device is not considered to be protected, it's quite sturdy and resistant to impact.
Incidentally, the aluminium used to make the case has interesting patterns. It was milled using several different tools and then anodised to retain the natural lustre of the aluminium and prevent oxidation and corrosion.
The tablet is also fitted with a stand and straps that attach to ACRONYM clothing. The idea is that the gadget can be used standing up or even on the go without a desk or any other surface.
The designers also had a hand in the design of the keyboard: it is finished with dark leather, has stylized keys ACRONYM and some own alphabet. Will it be comfortable to type on? Designers will know better.
In terms of basic specs, the Asus ROG Flow Z13-ACRNM RMT02 gets Core i9-13900H and GeForce RTX 4070 processors, a 1TB SSD and 32GB of RAM. The display has a refresh rate of 165Hz.
The tablet will go on sale on April 3 and will cost $2,500.
