Last year's Asus Zenfone 8 was one of the few tiny Android phones on the market, and now we're finally getting some official information on the Zenfone 9, which leaked in a product video. The phone will feature a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole cutout in the left corner.

The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and come with a 4,300 mAh battery. The back of the handset includes a dual camera configuration with the same 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor as on the ROG Phone 6 series, but this time around Asus is including a six-axis gimbal module for video stabilization.

In the rest of the video, we learn more about the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and a headphone jack on top. We also learn that the device is waterproof to IP68 levels. The film also demonstrates an optional smart backpack attachment that secures the phone firmly in place with a retractable cord connected to the case. A Connex phone case with a built-in kickstand and card holder is demonstrated as well.

Asus has yet to provide any official information on the Zenfone 9, but judging by the leaked product video, we should learn more soon.
