Recently, the Netherlands and Denmark announced that they would transfer F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets to Ukraine. As it turned out, one more country may join this list.

According to the Norwegian TV channel TV2, Norway has also decided to send Ukraine American fighter jets. The number of F-16 Fighting Falcon is not yet called, but according to experts, it could be 12 aircraft. By the way, Norway has more of these fighters, but they will be sold to Romania.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a multi-role light fighter. It was developed by the American company General Dynamics. Due to its versatility and low cost, the F-16 is a success on the international market. It is in service with 24 countries. The F-16 is the most mass-produced fighter of the fourth generation. As of 2009, more than 4,400 have been built, and in 2016, more than 2,500 were in service.
