Canada joins in training Ukrainian pilots and personnel to operate F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters
The international coalition for training pilots and personnel of the Ukrainian Air Force to work on F-16s will soon get another participant. This was announced by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The head of government said that Canada will send instructors to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Also Justin Trudeau noted that the North American country will help with the training of maintenance personnel.
The day before, it became known about the upcoming military aid package for Ukraine worth almost $500m. It will include German Leopard 2 tanks. At the moment, their number is not specified.
As for the F-16, three countries have officially announced deliveries of the fourth-generation fighters after the completion of the pilot and personnel training programme. They are Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands. Belgium will also consider transferring the aircraft.
