Albania has received two U.S. UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters into service

The Albanian Air Force has received US helicopters for service.

We are talking about two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of the country. The helicopters arrived in Albania on 13 January. They were delivered by the military transport aircraft C-17A Globemaster III of the U.S. Air Force. By the way, Albania is to receive from the United States 3 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters worth $50 million.

UH-60M Black Hawk is an American tactical multipurpose helicopter. It is designed to transport personnel, military cargo, as well as for the evacuation of the wounded and the transport of large-sized cargo. The UH-60M Black Hawk is produced by Sikorsky Aircraft (owned by Lockheed Martin). The first version of the helicopter was released in 1974. Since then, it has received many modifications. UH-60M Black Hawk participated in many military conflicts.
