The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has announced the release of a collection of non-transferable tokens (NFTs).

Here's What We Know

The collection consists of 45,000 images, which are in the style of baseball cards. But they can be stored digitally. The announcement came from Donald Trump's own social network, which was created after the former president got a ban on Twitter. The platform is called Truth Social.

NFTs are released on the Polygon blockchain. They can be purchased for fiat currency or for Ethereum cryptocurrency. The cost per token is $99. Buying 45 cards ($4455) at a time will allow the buyer to attend a gala dinner with Donald Trump. Interestingly, the billionaire once criticized the cryptocurrency, saying that the market could end in an unprecedented explosion.

All NFT buyers will get a chance to meet the 45th president of the United States in person. The lucky winner will be chosen through a lottery. The winner will be able to have a conversation with Trump at the Mar-a-Lago residence, in Miami or over the phone.
