Donald Trump's NFT began reselling at a markup of up to 45,200% - the most expensive image costs $44,900
Last week Donald Trump announced an NFT collection that sold out in 24 hours. The buyers decided not to keep the tokens, but to resell them.
Here's What We Know
The value of one NFT from the collection was $99, which means that Donald Trump made almost $4.5 million in 24 hours, as the collection contains 45,000 non-interchangeable tokens. When buyers began to resell the images, they immediately went up in price. And many NFTs are based on low-quality stock images. As you can see, this doesn't stop anyone.
The minimal price of token increased more than six times - up to 0.52 ETH ($630). The most expensive NFT in Donald Trump's collection has the number #5809. The picture shows the 45th president of the United States in a tuxedo. It was paid $99 for it, and then resold for $44,900, i.e. the markup was more than 44,200%.
