Bose, after months of rumours and leaks, has announced new top-of-the-line QuietComfort Ultra wireless headphones.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is a replacement for the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 model. The headphones have an active noise cancellation sound system (ANC), and also boast Immersive Audio technology. This feature uses an inbuilt Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Bose's proprietary digital signal processing software to create a virtual soundstage that surrounds the listener. Users can choose from two modes: Still and Motion. Still mode is designed for sitting or standing, while Motion mode utilises head tracking while moving.

The new product also boasts improved call quality. According to Bose, new signal processing technology, chipset and an advanced microphone allow them to pick up your voice from all angles, even in noisy environments. The QuietComfort Ultra is controlled by buttons. The device has IPX4 water protection. As for the autonomy, it will last up to 24 hours. If you activate the Immersive Audio feature, the autonomy will decrease to 18 hours.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Bose QuietComfort Ultra can already be purchased on the manufacturer's official website for $429.
