iPhone 13 became the best-selling smartphone in the U.S. in the second quarter - only Apple models were in the top 5

The analytical agency has published a report on the U.S. smartphone market research for the second quarter of 2022.

What we know

According to the company, the unqualified leader of the U.S. market was iPhone 13. In this case, in the top 5 smartphones were only models of the American company Apple. Thus, 2nd place went to the iPhone 13 SE third generation, 3rd place went to iPhone 13 Pro Max, and 4th and 5th places to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 12, respectively.

There was room for six Apple smartphones in the top 10, with the iPhone 13 mini in ninth place.

The worst of the best was the Samsung Galaxy S22, which closed the top 10. The Ultra version was number 5. The Moto G Power (2022) and Samsung Galaxy A13 were also in the top 10.

Apple continues to be the undisputed leader with 52% share and 18.5 million smartphone shipments. Samsung controls 26% (9 million units) of the U.S. market. Motorola (9%, 3.1 million units), TCL (5%, 1.8 million units) and Google (2%, 0.8 million units) are in the top 5. All other companies together have a share of 6% (2.2 million units)
