European aircraft manufacturer Airbus is launching the assembly of A321 aircraft in the People's Republic of China. This is reported by local publications, citing their sources.

Here's What We Know

The A321 is the largest aircraft in the series. The fact that the assembly will be launched in China, it became known back in 2021. Airbus China has signed a framework agreement with Chinese companies to expand and modernize the FAL Tianjin line.

Two large parts of the aircraft are due to be delivered to the plant today, September 13. Earlier in the day, another large component arrived at the plant. Presumably the fuselage.

Previously, the assembly of the Airbus A321 was performed only at the plants in Germany (Hamburg) and the United States (Alabama). Now the company has four centers. To the German and American plants were added companies in France (Toulouse) and China (Tianjin).
