Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) has published a report on the bendable smartphone market in 2022. Samsung continues to lead without a chance for competitors.

In the reporting period, 3.1 million smartphones were shipped. Compared to the previous quarter, sales fell by 48% and from the last quarter of 2021 by 26%. Despite this, shipments of bendable smartphones increased by 62% to 12.9 million units for the full year 2022.
Samsung continues to be the leader, leaving no chance for competitors, although its share has shrunk to 83%. A year ago, the manufacturer held 96% of the market and 86% in the third quarter of 2022. The most popular smartphone in the reporting period was the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4. Its share amounted to 47%.
