Elon Musk founded X.AI to develop AI. And, more recently, opposed OpenAI and experimentation with AI
The media has learned that Elon Musk created a new company last month, X.AI Corp. And its name indirectly indicates the scope of its business.

According to reporters, the firm was incorporated on March 9. Its sole director is listed as Elon Musk, and its nominal director is his family's business manager Jared Birchall, who also heads Neuralink. The company is registered in Nevada.
Interestingly, the newly created company will develop artificial intelligence. Rumours of this have been circulating over the past few weeks. For example, the publication Business Insider has learned about 10 thousand graphics processors Nvidia, which acquired Musk. On top of that, Musk has sought funding from SpaceX and Tesla investors to launch X.AI and has been in talks with specialists from OpenAI, the company that created the ChatGPT chatbot.
But what's most surprising is that even recently, Elon Musk has been critical of OpenAI. Along with other industry figures, he even created a petition that calls for a six-month halt in the testing of new generative artificial intelligence models, ostensibly to develop some kind of standards and safety rules in the new field. And now it turns out that in the meantime Musk was quietly preparing the ground for his own ChatGPT.
