BAE Systems has opened an office in Ukraine and is going to produce 105 mm howitzers L119, they can hit targets at a distance of up to 19 km

The information was shared by the press service of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelinsky. BAE Systems has already opened an office in Ukraine. In addition, the company is going to produce L119 howitzers at Ukrainian enterprises. The Ukrainian armed forces have been using them since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia. They were given to Ukraine by their partners. Howitzers have proven themselves on the battlefield.

The L119 is a British-made 105-millimetre howitzer. It is designed to support infantry, airborne troops and assault groups. It is manned by 5-7 men. The range of the L119 is from 11,500 to 19,000 metres (depending on the shells).
