China's annual 11.11 sale has kicked off, with major promotions to follow on November 11, but Xiaomi has already reported big sales.

On the first day of the sale, the Chinese company was able to sell $1.2bn worth of goods in a few hours. The sales structure will be revealed later, but it is already known that Xiaomi 14 smartphones turned out to be seven times more popular than the last generation models.

Xiaomi decided not to limit itself to the new generation flagships as novelties. The Chinese company began selling smart watches Xiaomi Watch S3 and Xiaomi TV S Pro 85, which were announced last week.
