Google, the parent company of Fitbit, has announced that it will stop selling Fitbit devices in the global market.

Details

So, Fitbit is officially stopping sales in 29 countries around the world, namely Europe, Asia and Latin America. In Europe, these countries are Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Slovakia.

Also, Fitbit gadgets are no longer available for purchase in Mexico and all Latin American countries. Earlier in August, Google discontinued Fitbit Premium subscription renewals and product sales in several Asian countries, including Hong Kong, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Thus, Fitbit devices now remain on sale in only 23 countries.

Despite this, Fitbit promises to continue to support existing customers and release updates for its devices.
