Apple has taken the original model of the laptop off the market following the release of the MacBook Air with the M3 chip.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about the MacBook Air based on the SoC M1. The laptop debuted in 2020. It has a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The device has a 720p webcam and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. At the start of sales, the gadget cost from $999. By the way, the MacBook Air M1 was Apple's cheapest laptop and the company's first laptop with a proprietary ARM chip.
Now Apple's cheapest laptop is last year's 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip. The company has kept the device on sale, but dropped the price. The base version costs $999.
