Today Apple is marking the tenth anniversary of Steve Jobs' death by posting a special homepage on Apple.com.

A photo of Steve fills the entire page, and a link to a special film featuring some of his most memorable quotes is also prominently displayed.

The site also includes a special statement from the Jobs family that says, "For all of Steve's giftedness, his strength as a teacher remains constant, teaching us to be open to the beauty of the world, to be curious about new ideas, to look around the next corner, and, most importantly, to remain humble in our own budding minds."

The two Steve's, Jobs and Wozniak, founded Apple on April 1, 1976. During his tenure, the company introduced revolutionary technological products, including the original Mac, which popularized the graphical user interface as the future of desktop computers, the iPod, which became the world's most popular digital music player, and, of course, the iPhone and iPad.

After a long battle with cancer, Jobs stepped down as CEO of Apple on August 24, 2011. He had planned to stay on as chairman of the board. Sadly, Jobs passed away a couple of months later, on October 5, 2011, just a day after iPhone 4S was announced at another Apple product launch. At the time, Jobs was already too ill to attend the event.
