Insider: Black Shark 5 will receive Snapdragon 888+ chip, 144Hz display and 4600mAh battery with 120W charging support

A Chinese insider shared on the Weibo social network the characteristics of Xiaomi's new gaming smartphone.

We are talking about Black Shark 5 with the codename Katyusha. According to the informant, the new product will come with an AMOLED screen Samsung E4. The panel will receive FHD + resolution, 144 Hz picture refresh rate and 720 Hz sensor readout frequency. Last year's Snapdragon 888+ processor will be responsible for the performance of the smartphone. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is likely to be installed in an improved version of the Black Shark 5 Pro smartphone. 

The Black Shark 5 is also expected with a 4600mAh battery with support for 120W charging and a main camera with three sensors. There are no prices and dates for the announcement of the smartphone yet, but most likely, the new product will be released to the market in the first or second quarter of 2022.
