New information about Redmi Note 12 smartphones has appeared

Despite the fact that Redmi Note 11 smartphones have not been sold in China for three months, and outside the country they have not yet been presented at all, there has already been talk about new generation models.

What we know

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro + have indexes K16 and K16U, respectively, Redmi Note 10 5G - K19, and POCO M3 Pro - K19P. Xiaomiui enthusiasts have found information on the certification of several more smartphones with similar indices.

It is assumed that under the L19 hides the usual Redmi Note 12, and under the L19N - a version with an NFC chip on board. The L16 index is attributed to the Redmi Note 12 Pro model, and the L16U to the Redmi Note 12 Pro +, by analogy with the eleventh series smartphones. In addition, the L19P index may hide the POCO M5 Pro 5G.

There is no information about the characteristics yet. The presentation of Redmi Note 12 smartphones is expected in the second quarter of 2022, i.e. about a year after the premiere of Redmi Note 10. This does not run counter to Xiaomi's plans to update the lineup twice a year.
