Valve announced when its portable console Steam Deck with an AMD processor will hit the market

Valve announced a branded portable console last summer Steam Deck. It was planned to start selling the novelty in December, but due to supply problems accessories release has been postponed. Now it became known when, nevertheless, the device will enter the market.

So, according to the manufacturer's message on the official website, the first deliveries of the gadget will begin at the end of February. In addition to this, the company also announced that it continues to work on the program Steam Deck Verified, in which developers were sent test versions of consoles so that they could optimize their games for the device before release. 

Recall Steam Deck is now available for pre-order. The novelty costs from 399 US dollars. The device has a 7-inch display with 1200x800p resolution, 400 nits brightness and 60Hz refresh rate. The set-top box is powered by an AMD chip with Zen 2 architecture paired with an RDNA 2 graphics accelerator, 16 GB of RAM and a 64/256/512 GB SSD. If desired, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card. The gadget is powered by a 40 Wh battery. Autonomy should be enough for 2-8 hours.
