Not just iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8: AirPods Pro 2 will also debut on September 7

We're approaching September 7, which is the big fall presentation of new Apple products. At this event we also expect the premiere of the 2nd generation AirPods Pro wireless earphones.

Here's What We Know

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman writes about it in the new issue of the Power On newsletter:

"Last year I reported that the new AirPods Pro would arrive in 2022, and now I'm told there will be a big announcement on Wednesday."

The earphones should have an H2 chip for better sound quality, longer battery life, a new charging case with Find My support and Bluetooth LE Audio support. Earlier rumors suggested a redesign and abandonment of the "legs" in favor of compactness. However, more recent rumors suggest that the second-generation AirPods Pro will not have any significant changes in appearance.

Recall that Apple is also expected to unveil four smartphones in the iPhone 14 lineup, the Apple Watch Series 8 smartwatch, SE models and the Apple Watch Pro on September 7.
