Unexpected: Xiaomi to reveal Redmi Note 12R Pro with OLED screen, 48 MP camera and 256 GB of storage on 29 April

Xiaomi has unexpectedly announced the launch date of the new Redmi Note 12 range smartphone.

The model will be called Redmi Note 12R Pro. According to the manufacturer's official Weibo poster, the device will be shown at the event on April 29. That is this Saturday.

The novelty will get a look similar to the other smartphones in the series. The gadget will hit the market in three colours and one memory modification: with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The novelty will get fifth generation (5G) network support. In addition, the Redmi Note 12R Pro will be equipped with an OLED screen and a dual main camera with a 48 MP main sensor.

How much the novelty will cost is not yet known.
